Do you enjoy turning AI models into robust, real-world solutions? We’re looking for a Senior AI Developer to take ownership of AI-development within our software team and help push performance and quality to the next level.

Location: Allerød, Denmark

Workplace: On-site, no relocation assistance

About the Company

Global Scanning is the world leader in large-format scanners, trusted by industries such as architecture, design, engineering, and digital archiving. We develop everything in-house – from hardware and electronics to the intelligent software that powers our products. Our scanners are used globally to digitize everything from technical drawings to historical documents.

The Role

As a Senior AI Developer, you will take responsibility for developing and improving AI solutions within our software platform.

You will work with existing models and code, improving performance, extending functionality, and ensuring that AI solutions are reliable in real-world applications.

You will play a key role in shaping how AI is used in our products, and work closely with experienced software engineers and domain experts.

Responsibilities

• Improve and extend existing AI models used in our scanning software
• Develop new AI functionality where it adds value to the product
• Analyze model performance and identify weaknesses in real-world scenarios
• Optimize models for robustness, accuracy, and performance
• Integrate AI solutions into larger C++-based software systems
• Collaborate with software developers and domain experts to define requirements

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with C++ and Visual Studio
• Solid experience with applied AI / machine learning
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch)
• Experience with designing, implementing and optimizing neural networks
• Experience with gathering and processing training data
• Experience with Linux, CUDA
• Experience with computer vision
• High ownership and responsibility
• Ability to work independently and analytically
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
• Comfortable working in English and preferably Danish too

Nice to Have

• Experience with UNet or similar architectures
